LSDE Dialog Engine / Ports

Variable: Ports

const Ports: object

Defined in: blueprint-types.ts:69

The ports every engine must know. Option, case and actor ports are named by the project.

Type Declaration

Catch

readonly Catch: "catch" = "catch"

The exception exit, on the same two: an action where a call failed, and a router where at least one case was false. On a router it does NOT cancel anything - the tracks of the true cases are already running, exactly like a Promise.all that rejects.

Choice

readonly Choice: "choice" = "choice"

NOT a port: the reserved ConditionTest.dict that reads past answers. entry is a CHOICE block id, value an Option.id of that block. The engine answers it from what it recorded during the scene; the memory starts and ends with the scene, and no project dictionary may use this id.

Default

readonly Default: "default" = "default"

The fallback exit of a condition block: no case matched.

In

readonly In: "in" = "in"

The single entry port of every block.

Out

readonly Out: "out" = "out"

The default exit of a dialog, and the true exit of an if-style condition.

Then

readonly Then: "then" = "then"

The nominal exit, on two block types: an action whose calls all succeeded, and a router whose cases were ALL true.
